“Witiya Pittungnapoo is an Associate. Prof. in Faculty of Architecture, Art and Design, Naresuan University in Phitsanulok, Thailand. She completed her Ph.D. in town and regional planning from the University of Sheffield in the UK. Over a half decade her research has been approached to water-based settlements by preserving vernacular architecture and water-based cultural landscape. Witiya is an active researcher who has contributed her knowledge and planning skills across multi-disciplines to build up international research collaboration on flooding adaptation for cultural heritage preservation in more resilient approaches Recently, she has worked on pushing climate change policy into cultural heritage sector in the Lower Northern Region of Thailand.”
